Andy has directed soccer camps for over thirty years, working with boys and girls at all age levels. He started his camp coaching career at Indiana University, Miami of Ohio and Coastal Carolina. On the Ball Soccer Camps started off as satelite camps in 1989. He is the head men's soccer coach at The University of Findlay and has had great success coaching at the collegiate level. The highlights during his tenure are an NCAA II Final Four appearance for the men and four NAIA National tournament berths for the women. He received Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year awards while coaching both the men's and and women's programs. Andy holds the UEFA 'A' License, USSF 'A' License, the NSCAA Premier Diploma and a Masters in Sport Studies from Miami University (OH).
Mark is in his fourth year as On the Ball's Assistant Director. He played collegiately at the University of Findlay, where he was a four year starter. As an Oiler, Mark was given All-conference recognition in three out of his four years - two of those being first team. ; he was a captain his last two seasons and voted MVP by his teammates in his senior year. On graduation, Mark coached the reserve team for a year; he was also an assistant coach at his alma mater, Findlay High School. Coach Sleasman is currently the men's assistant soccer coach at The University of Findlay.
Former goalkeeper at the University of Findlay from Mansfield, OH where he played club soccer for Panthers FC. Aurel is majoring in education at Findlay and hopes to become a high school social studies teacher when he graduates. Aurel loves coaching and working with kids, as he gets to see them grow not only as players but as individuals as well. He will work with field players this week. This is Aurel's fourth year with OTB.
Jix will be a sophomore goalkeeper at the University of Findlay and is from Swanton, OH; where he played for the Pacesetter Soccer Club. Jix played in two games in 2023 and didn't concede any goals. He majors in exercise science for health professions. He was a kicker for his high school football team It is Jix's second year with OTB. He will be in charge of coaching the 'keepers at on the Ball's Residential Camp, having filled the same role at last year's Travel camp.
Jessica is a defender at the University of Findlay from Sterling Heights, MI. She played for Nationals Soccer Club and her favorite team is Manchester City. Jessica studies Forensic Chemistry with hopes to work for a Forensic Unit within the Federal Bureau of Investigation, or for a State Police Department. She enjoys coaching because it allows her to connect with young soccer players and make their soccer experience enjoyable, as many coaches did for her. It is Jessica's second year with OTB.
Raegen is a forward for the University of Findlay Oilers, who scored twice in the 2023 season. She is from Zionsville, IN. Her club team, Indiana Fire, won two State Cup championships in 2021 and 2022. In high school, she captained her soccer and basketball teams and kicked for the football team! This is Raegan's first year with OTB.
Carson played left midfield for the University of Findlay Oilers, scoring five goals. He is a sophomore and majors in business with an emphasis in accounting. Carson is from Farmington Hills, MI, where he attended Bedford HS. This is Carson's second year with OTB and his first year working at the residential camp.
Kayla is very well known in the soccer community as a player, coach and athletic trainer! She will be working the Travel camp this year. Kayla played collegiately for the Tiffin Dragons from 2013-2016. She has coached for Pacesetter South Soccer Club and was an assistant for the Van Buren girl's high school team. Currently, she coaches for Greater Toledo Football Club. This is Kayla's fifth year with OTB, where she has been both a coach and athletic trainer.
Paige is a junior midfielder for the University of Findlay, from Noblesville, IN. She is a two-time Indiana State Champion in soccer. She majors in international Business and Marketing, likes to travel in Europe and speaks a little German! This is Paige's first year with OTB.
Mitch is an Assistant Athletic trainer at the University of Findlay from Herrin, IL. He received his bachelor’s degree from Grace College and earned his master’s in athletic training from Manchester University. Mitch is in his third year at UF, where he works with men’s soccer and baseball. He played baseball at Grace College and has helped instruct baseball lessons throughout high school. His favorite sports team is the St. Louis Cardinals. Mitch's career goals are to get into division I sports and obtain his Physical Therapy degree This is Mitch's second year with OTB.
